Candle Care

All ALERA the label candles are custom made, just for you! Our candles are hand-poured with love, lightly scented, and purposed for home decor. If you do wish to burn them, please ensure they are placed on a flat, heatproof dish or surface. As you burn your candle, the wax will begin to overspill, do not leave candles unattended. Due to its natural, biodegradable characteristics its easier to remove and clean from fabric or other surfaces surfaces. Do not leave candles in direct sunlight or nearby heat sources, this may cause discolouration. Keep your candles out of reach from children & pets. They're pretty to watch but not to touch!

At Alera the label, we appreciate individuality and embrace unique imperfections. Please keep in mind the colour and finishes of each candle may have some minor imperfect characteristics. After some time, a white layer may appear on the surface of your candle. The layer is called "frosting" and is naturally occurring on 100% natural soy wax. If this does occur, simply buff this away by rubbing a soft cloth or your fingers over the affected area. Thats what makes them special!
